we made a memorial for Sophie with an old silk scarf she loved, a religious medalion of hers, an old 60's era i.d. card, and pink and blue candles.

after ten years battling alzheimers, my mother passed away this morning at 8:38AM, Wednesday, July 19, 2006. She's at peace now and so beautiful.
